The reception was at Hibernian Hall with the catering done by Regal Catering. I can not begin to tell you how fantastic they were to work with. We were planning the wedding from out of state and at every turn Michelle did everything she could to accomodate our schedules. She guided us through the process and was extremely helpful when we asked her opinion. We were not familiar with a " reception" style dinner so she helped us to understand and eventually embrace this type of reception. I also want to mention that we made many changes along the way and she would have to refigure everything again . She never once made us feel uncomfortable or put out that we had changed our minds again. We had 200 people attend the event and we are still recieving phone calls and notes telling us how much fun they had and how good the food was. My son in law and daughter also were thrilled to have a wonderful basket of food at the hotel after the wedding. It was another special touch. We have another daughter who could be getting married - hopefully not too soon - but we would definitely love to use Regal again! Dear Michelle and Staff: Dec 4 2010 What can I say…..you all really outdid yourselves for Lindsay and Mark’s wedding reception. The food was superb. The service was great. Everything was wonderful. My father said that was the best wedding reception food he had ever tasted and he is 78 and has been to quite a few wedding.s Everyone has raved about how everything tasted so great. And the display was so beautiful. You really did a wonderful job. We can’t thank you enough. Thank you all for helping make Mark and Lindsay’s day so special. The food was fabulous, the presentation was, oh, so beautiful!! All of the guests were raving about how delicious everything was. I believe the comments were something like: " The Food, The FOOD!!, I(we) have never had food this good at any wedding I(we) have ever been to before." Comments like this went on through the night of the event and even after the event. Guests that were present even called me on the phone to complement the food that was served. All of our guests were complimenting how great the food tasted! The displays were fabulous, along with the helpful staff! Everyone was so nice, starting from the initial consultation. I did not have a wedding planner and Michelle filled that role for me at our reception- she helped with timing (bouquet toss, cake cutting, etc at no extra cost) and most of all with keeping me calm and relaxed. Everything was wonderful...and I was definitely right about adding that fabulous cheese board...it was a big hit and very necessary since the kids did take awhile getting the photos on the beach. They offer anything you can think of. Anything we asked for weather it was food,drinks,decorations,etc. they offered it to us. I just wanted to tell you how very, very pleased I was with the job you and your staff did with Jennifer and Jonathans wedding reception last month. My family, my friends, and Jonathas family all came to me afterwards to tell me how wonderful the food was, and how very impressed they were with the professionalism of you and your staff. My parents have called several times since then and are still talking about how delicious the food was! Good thing they dont know I still have some in the freezer! My dads brother and his wife came from Augusta the day after the wedding (they had to attend a funeral on the day of the wedding), and we served them a buffet of leftovers, and they thought everything was great! My uncle is a Colonel in the army, and when his daughters got married in Augusta, they had the receptions at the officers club, and they said your food was much better! You ensured the family, vacationing from New Jersey and several other states, had a relaxing and fun time and relieved the stress of throwing an intimate gathering in a town where they knew no one. Forsyth Birthday July 4, 2007 I just wanted to thank you and your staff for all they did for our daughter's wedding reception, June 24th at the Creek Club in Ion. As purchasing director at the country club where I work, I'm familiar with food quality and service quality. The reception food was great and the staff was friendly, attentive, and hard working. I personally got a little of almost every food item, and enjoyed it all, especially the shrimp and grits. We also got a great deal of compliments on the food and service from our guests. We were so pleased with the service. The guests loved the LowCountry Boil. Our theme was beach/nautical and Regal offered to bring items to decorate as well. They brought colorful fish and a big boat dish to serve the LowCountry Boil from. It was a great presentation.
